I’m very excited to announce that I am now a regular blogger for Dog Star Daily.

Dog Star Daily is website dedicated to providing quality dog training and dog parenting advice to both dog owners and professionals.  I’ve been using their website for years, and am continue to be impressed by the wealth of valuable content, both in written, video, and audio form.  The brainchild of legendary trainer Dr. Ian Dunbar and his wife Kelly, Dog Star Daily hosts blogs from many of the best trainers in the business, including Suzanne Clothier, Patricia McConnell, Nicole Wilde, as well as Kelly and Ian themselves.

Does your dog lunge and bark at other dogs or people when on leash?  Then this class may be for you.  During this weekly class you will be given techniques for not only managing your dog’s behavior, but also training your dog to become less leash reactive.

Dogs are worked with individually during 30min slots.

Slots available are at 6:30pm, 7:oopm, 7:30pm, & 8:00pm.

This class is based on methods promoted by Suzanne Clothier’s Relationship Centered Training (RCT).

Please bring your dog on a 6 foot leash.   Bring tasty, A+ treats like hot dog or cheese chopped up into pea-sized bites.

Open to all dogs over the age of 18weeks.

On Tuesday July 27, Austin Java is reserving the Java Lounge for us for an evening of food, drinks, and doggies!

We’ll be taking over the back porch at Austin Java on 1206 Parkway at 12th and Lamar from 6pm.  There will be $2.50 beers, fabulous prizes for the pooches, plenty of opportunity to ask training questions, and we’ll even have a little obstacle course that you can run through in true “Be With Your Dog” fashion!

“Be With Your Dog” simple obstacle courses are a fantastic way to learn how to work your dogs through real life situations, using your brain and not your leash!  ”Be With Your Dog” takes place every Tuesday at various Austin locations.

Also, Brit Kroner Photography will be on hand taking professional pictures of the pups!
